Where we came from

Established in 1989, at a time when Ottawa was in need of a high-quality, locally-based contracting expert to specialize in retail, commercial, and institutional interiors, Terlin Construction answered the call and has grown our business and expertise to continue to meet and exceed industry expectations and client needs.

Terlin is proud of our many achievements and proven track record as the "supplier of choice" for leading institutions and national retail chains, including Shoppers Drug Mart with whom we have shared a now 20+ year relationship. Responding to opportunities outside of Eastern Ontario, Terlin expanded our project delivery reach and capability, engaging with national retail chains to deliver projects from coast to coast.

In 2015, Terlin moved into our new, state-of- the-art facility in Ottawa which also houses our custom Millwork shop. The move allowed us to expand our corporate office and bring all of our staff together under one roof, improving our service efficiencies that much more.

We are committed to delivering the highest quality of service with minimal disruptions. We manage risk for our clients by controlling every aspect of the project from pre-construction budgeting, design, and execution to follow-up service after the project is complete. Our internal service staff are kept up to date and are well acquainted with the details and status of each Terlin project so they are well-equipped to assist with client requirements or inquiries after the project is complete.

In addition, we call on industry experts and consultants to advise us on safety practices, develop policies and procedures for internal and on the job safety, and conduct annual training with our staff, all to reduce or eliminate the possibility of accidents and injuries.

Giving back

Terlin Construction is proud to call Ottawa home and we understand our role within the community and the importance of giving back wherever we can. This desire lies at the heart of our corporate culture and has led to our commitment to actively support a wide range of local charities and service organizations across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario – both as a corporation and by encouraging our team members and their families to get involved in volunteer work and other opportunities.
